Meet Jacqueline Lewis
How do you identify?
Queer femme, gender fluid, lesbian
Tell us about yourself:
I am a public health researcher interested in addressing health disparities across multiple communities!
Fun fact(s) about you:
Any advice for young queers out there or advice you would have given your younger self:
You are loved. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re only meant for yourself, but you are loved.
What does this community mean to you?
This community continues to uplift and empower me in ways I’d never thought possible. It’s because of the LGBTQ community that I am here today.
Why did you want to be involved in this project?
Although I am *still* considered a Queer Youth, I believe that representation is power. Our lived experiences can provide others the motivation or hope that they need.
